Pricing a Room
The square feet of a room is determined by measuring the length and width in feet, then multiply the length by the width. This will give you the ceiling sqf, unless it is peaked. To calculate the square footage of a wall, measure its length and height in feet, then multiply these two measurements together. Do not subtract square footage from doors and windows that will receive no product. The time to mask around windows and doors with several courses (layers) of product is equal to the sqf cost if product application were there. There may be a surcharge for walls & ceilings of extra height, and complexity.
